Ventilation Of Glass Greenhouses

A glass greenhouse is a greenhouse with glass as the main lighting material. The main purpose of ventilation in a glass greenhouse is to eliminate moisture and waste heat inside the greenhouse, eliminate harmful gases to the human body, better regulate the air composition inside the greenhouse, and make the air and humidity inside the greenhouse more suitable for plant growth. The ventilation in a glass greenhouse generally adopts two forms:
1. Natural ventilation: Glass greenhouses often rely on natural ventilation to regulate the indoor environment. The structural form of large greenhouses is generally a double slope glass greenhouse, with ventilation windows installed on the side walls and roof. The total ventilation area is not less than 15% of the greenhouse area and should be as large as 30% as possible. When opening the roof windshield, the window sash can tilt upwards beyond the horizontal plane, forming a 100 degree angle with the horizontal plane when fully opened, which can achieve good ventilation effect. The ventilation rate of natural ventilation is related to wind speed, direction, position and area of ventilation windows, as well as the temperature difference inside and outside the greenhouse.
2. Forced ventilation: Although most of the time, glass greenhouses rely on natural ventilation to regulate the environment, during high summer temperatures, especially in hot weather with outdoor temperatures exceeding 33, natural ventilation alone is difficult to meet the cooling requirements of the greenhouse. Using forced ventilation and other cooling measures is a common method in production. Forced ventilation is the use of fans to convert electrical or other mechanical energy into wind energy, Force air flow for greenhouse ventilation to achieve cooling effect.
