What are the wind protection measures for multi-span greenhouses

Before the rainy season, the multi span greenhouse needs to take corresponding wind protection measures, especially the parts on the tuyere. At the same time, for the frame part of the shed waist, the support point density is less than the roof, and the stability is slightly poor, so the protection should also be strengthened.

If the multi-span greenhouse can be built on the windbreak on the leeward side as much as possible, it can significantly reduce the pressure of strong winds on the front of the greenhouse; If built on the leeward side, it can significantly reduce the negative pressure lifting effect of strong winds. When the wind is strong, the gas exchange rate inside and outside the multi span greenhouse is related to the degree of closure and wind speed, so attention should be paid to preventing disasters caused by low temperature and humidity.

To establish a continuous greenhouse structure with high wind resistance, the wind load of the greenhouse should be considered in the design. The wind resistance is positively correlated with the stability performance of the greenhouse, and the stability performance is closely related to factors such as the curvature of the greenhouse surface, the material of the greenhouse skeleton, the height to span ratio, and the length to span ratio. The wind resistance of a streamline greenhouse is relatively high.

The connected shed can adopt the principle of triangular stability, by adding temporary or stay wires, pillars, or scaffolding materials between the shed frame and the shed frame, as well as between the shed frame and the ground. Open the vents and doors on the leeward side of the greenhouse, or roll up some or all of the greenhouse film on the leeward side from bottom to top, in order to reduce the area of negative pressure caused by strong winds and prevent the film from being lifted by strong winds.

For the continuous shed located around the plastic film area, when the height is not lower than the strength of the middle shed, it can be appropriately reduced, which is conducive to improving the overall wind resistance performance of the plastic film. In addition, damaged shed films, exhaust holes, and shed doors should also be repaired in a timely manner to prevent further damage.
